The Marlins competed in their first League 1 round ever on Sat 11th Oct 2014 and showed that they can mix it with some of the best. There were many excellent performances and pb times and 8 victories. Unfortunately for Belper it was a very close gala where no team dominated and despite all the wins we finished 6th [152 pts] just one point behind Redditch [153] and Long Eaton A [160].
I was very pleased with some of the technical improvements on turns shown by our team.
This was still a tremendous achievement and all who swam should be proud of themselves as we are punching well above our weight. Roll on round 2!
