What is SwimMark?
SwimMark (previously swim21) accreditation is the ASA’s recognised kitemark for the development of effective, ethical and sustainable affiliated clubs. The opportunity to gain SwimMark accreditation is available to all clubs, regardless of size and activity delivered. SwimMark is about creating the best possible swimming experience for all and raising the quality of aquatics provision across all areas.
SwimMark offers national recognition that clubs are providing a quality service for all members, which is recognised by Sport England.
All clubs gaining ASA accreditation will automatically receive Clubmark status, which is widely recognised by potential funders, schools and other partners that can assist with club growth and development.
SwimMark is a key module which will support clubs to grow membership, develop volunteers and ensure the sustainability of activity in line with the objective of the club.
What is Clubmark?
Clubmark is the universally acknowledged cross sport accreditation scheme for community sports Clubs.
It promotes high standards of welfare, equity, coaching and management in community sports Clubs, ensuring Club infrastructure is safer, stronger and more successful. It shows that a Club provides the right environment, which ensures the welfare of members and encourages everyone to enjoy sport and stay involved throughout their lives.
An accredited Club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages as well as helping parents and carers know that they’re choosing the right Club for their young people.
